Full Time (32+ hrs/week) Sales Associate: Migration Boutique Migration Boutique (formerly Lotus) is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Victoria BC. Selling distinctive urban items from up and coming designers, Migration features over 60 local artists and supports ethical production. Migration is a permanent artisan fair providing the opportunity to find unique gifts handmade by Victoria & Canada's finest designers. Migration has something for everyone! Ideal Candidate Possesses: *Interest in local fashion and a rewarding employment experience *Motivated by a fast-paced and changing environment *Skilled at coordinating outfits for customers *Provides a positive attitude and enjoys working in a collaborative environment *Identifies with brand image and loyalty to its success *Flexible availability (weekends included) *Clear understanding of the fashion retail industry. Sales Staff will: *Demonstrate successful sales abilities, meeting or exceeding sales targets *Maintain a knowledgeable understanding of products *Be prompt, positive, and incredibly helpful in all situations during the busiest of sales hours *Caring of the customer's overall experience, the staff as a team and the store appearance *Skilled at up selling products *Helpful with stocking shelves, packing, loading and unloading stock when requested Job Requirements: *Retail experience 1+ years *Mature attitude towards the workplace and the profession of sales *Experience or Education in Marketing, Website or Social Media preferred but not necessary. *Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
