Clothing Store Manager

Employment: Permanent, full time (40 hr/w) Wage: $26.50/h Canadian Apparel Warehouse Ltd DBA Rhino Work Boutique provides products and services in warehouse – clothing. To extend our team, we are in search of an experienced Store Manager to: • Manage, plan, control, and organize the overall operations of the store on a day-to-day basis • Lead the team in meeting and exceeding sales plans, including a well-presented sales floor, signage, and outstanding visual presentation • Plan and collaboratively work to budgets, maximize profits, and achieve sales targets • Prepare reports and other performance analysis documentation • Assist customers in inquiries and transactions, acting as a brand ambassador • Assist in recruiting new staff, as well as train and promote the development of skills for existing staff • Coordinate staff scheduling, ensuring all shifts are properly staffed and efficient • Practice inventory control standards and ensure the store is fully stocked based on the requirements • Organize stock and equipment, order supplies, and oversee overall store maintenance, cleanliness, and security • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers • Ensure the store and team follow best practices and policy and procedures for a healthy store Requirements: • Completion of secondary education • Completion of some business or financial administration training considered a strong asset • Minimum 3 years retail manager experience in a self-directed leadership role • Hands on management skills with a track record of consistently improving performance through best practices, team building, and operations strategies • Strong decision making and conflict management skills with experience of supervising or managing a team of 2-5 people • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task effectively in a busy retail environment • Knowledge of English/ verbal and written Email resume to: cawrecruits@gmail.com As an equal opportunity employer we encourage applications from all qualified individuals and specifically applicants from traditionally underrepresented groups – including Indigenous persons, vulnerable youth, newcomers, and persons with disabilities – who may contribute to the continued diversification of our organization.
