Full-Time Cook Wanted

The Renaissance is a locally owned retirement residence that offers independent living to seniors by providing meals, housekeeping, entertainment, and more. Our seated dining room features a baby grand piano, bright natural light and classic antique artwork. Our atmosphere is elegant, warm and sophisticated. Responsibilities and Duties Work under the supervision of the head chef to prepare the daily soup, fresh salad and two separate entrees. Assist the chef in plating the entrees for the dinner meal. Clean the stove, prep area and workstation after the meal is served. Wash dishes/various other cleaning-related tasks Qualifications and Skills Current Food Safe Certificate Experience in working in a commercial kitchen A desire to learn and the ability to take direction Good communication skills, verbal and written The ability to work productively in a relaxed friendly environment Reliable, punctual and responsible Mannerly, cooperative, honest, and friendly Team player This is an opportunity to work with an extremely talented chef who has earned his reputation for providing an exceptional dining experience. We are looking to fill a full-time position $25.00-$30.00 per hour Additional Details: Must currently have the legal ability to work in Canada, work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
