Counter Attendant / Server

We are looking to hire upbeat people to join our team as a Food Counter Server. (Must be living in Victoria, BC) Looking for someone that can work dayshift, weekends and some evenings. Student are also welcome to apply as we can work around your studies. In this role, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers and is accountable for the day to-day operations of the counter. The successful candidate will be friendly and personable with the ability to be a team player Essential Job Functions: Learn to properly operate till and handle money/credit cards/gift cards. Answer customer questions about menu items and serve customers at counters. Provides outstanding customer service and engage in suggestive selling Preparing food such as milkshakes, ice cream dishes and beverages, including hot beverages using dispensers and other equipment. Following proper opening and closing procedures, including cleaning at the end of the night. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas, as well as clean washrooms and dispose of garbage. Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Stock refrigerators and cupboards Assist the supervisor in some restaurant operations-related duties as necessary i.e., wastage recording, and inventory of stocks JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education Some secondary school education or equivalent Experience Previous experience in customer service and food service preferred Essential Skills Has high energy and pleasant attitude Displays good communication skills.
