We spent many years developing a superior cactus and succulent potting mix. It has everything an arid loving plant would need to thrive. For that reason we call it Arid Complete. We use a ratio of 75% drainage matter to 25% brown matter (organic matter) which includes worm castings, mycorrhizal fungi, & leonardite powder w/humic acids. These amendments take our potting mix to the next level. These ingredients help plants take up nutrients, help balance water hold capacity and aeration, stimulate root and plant growth, and prevents leaching of water-soluble fertilizers. Humic acids help proliferate the mycorrhizal fungi and the beneficial microorganisms found in worm castings. These microbes help protect plants from deadly pathogens and keep soil healthy.
