The flesh is pink when ripe thanks to lycopene, the antioxidant that gives grapefruits their ruby hue. The peel starts variegated and turns yellow when ripe. All the great lemon taste, but prettier! Beautiful leaves, clean citrus scented flowers, delicious lemons with pink flesh. These plants have it all. Made and grown locally in our little hobby greenhouse here in beautiful North Saanich on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.
