Atlas - Domestic Medium Hair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Victoria Branch Animal ID: 533011 Birthdate: August 02, 2013 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Unknown Female Meet Atlas! This quirky girl is looking for a very special home that can help her to feel safe in her new environment. Atlas will need an adult only home with few visitors to adjust to. Atlas insists on being the only pet, though she has lived with other cats before, she just didn't enjoy it. Atlas is still learning to trust humans, once you've built a relationship with her you can pet her behind the eyes (she doesn't like to see it coming) and she will softly headbutt you for more. Atlas does decide quite quickly when enough petting is enough and will let you know with a warning growl. If you continue to touch her she will swat at you to tell you no. Atlas can be swatty at first and will need a guardian who is comfortable breaking through her hard exterior using treats, patience, and love. Atlas LOVES temptations! She gets a little over excited for temptations and sometimes will do zoomies around the house. She loves perching in her sunny window though she may swat at you if you bother her during her sunning time. Thank you for your interest in adopting from us!
