Finally have to part ways with my Subaru, she's great for camping, has really impressive handling, and is fun to drive. Used as a daily driver for the past few years. Selling because the clutch fork recently broke and I am not in a position to replace it right now. The clutch itself was replaced in 2019, but the $20 fork at the very back of it broke, so the engine will need to be lifted out, then the clutch needs to be disassembled, plop the new fork in and do it all backwards. I am decent with cars but definitely not that good, and cannot afford the labour cost at a shop right now. If you are good with cars and have the time/tools required, she should be a relatively straightforward car to flip. THE GOOD -Head gasket has already been replaced, which is the main thing that usually goes on this model and was around $2500 to fix. -Brand new clutch put in in 2019 for around $1600. -Brand new radiator and hoses installed this fall. -Brand new front brake pads and rotors installed this fall. -Car recently had a full inspection so there should be no surprise issues anytime soon. THE BAD -Back drum brakes need to be replaced. Probably ~$200 job to Diy -Was hit-and-run awhile back so there's a small crack in the back bumper which is pictured above. Got it checked out through insurance but didn't want to pay the deductible just for cosmetic damage. -Bought her with a small oil leak, didn't want to pay to fix it so I just periodically checked and topped off as needed with no issues. -AC was not working when I purchased it, never got it fixed because I love to suffer apparently. Very sad to see her go, but It's time for us to part ways. Please reach out if you have any questions, selling As-is and open to offers. Thanks!
