Reserve your spot for the Marketing Connect Conference in Nanaimo Jan. 22 & 23

Do you leverage today’s marketing opportunities to make the most of your business’s growth potential? Are you confident in your ability to navigate this quickly changing landscaping?

Whether you’re new to digital marketing or simply want to explore ways to do it better, you need to put the Marketing Connect Conference on your new year’s itinerary.

Coming to the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo Jan. 22 and 23, the two-day event is an opportunity to learn from the best, and find the marketing tools that will help increase growth in 2020, says conference producer Kelsey Pringle.

While Island cities make considerable effort to encourage new business and business development, supports for those business, particularly around today’s innovative marketing opportunities, haven’t been as readily available, Pringle explains.

Until now.

“The Marketing Connect Conference is for anyone who has a business and it’s for anyone who wants to grow their business,” Pringle says, noting all businesses have similar challenges in reaching prospective customers.

The conference is a chance to learn something new, from the experts in the field.

“Education is so important in growing, both as a person and as a business,” she says.

Who will benefit from the conference?

Attendees are coming from a wide variety of companies and organizations – established brands,  agencies, service providers, technology pioneers, nonprofits, startups, mom-and-pop businesses and so many more.

“I think everyone acknowledges that digital marketing is important,” Pringle says, and while that  is an important tool, discussion will also explore how other, more traditional options such as print can offer complementary opportunities.

Inspirational speakers

With planning underway, an exceptional lineup of speakers quickly came on board, and they’ll speak to a breadth of topics including: Google marketing; email marketing; social media marketing; video marketing; SEO; and the power of influencers.

From John Koetsier, journalist, corporate executive and columnist for Forbes magazine, to Lacey Sheardown, President at Used.ca, to Eva Taylor, Sr. Manager, Global Social Marketing at Hootsuite, “these people truly are experts in their fields and anyone who attends will find great ideas to grow their business,” Pringle says.

Learn from Manjit Minhas, co-founder of Minhas Breweries, Distillery and Winery, who started her companies in Alberta at just 19 years old with her brother. Currently, she has over 90 brands of beers, spirits, liqueurs and wines – products sold in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and BC, plus 43 US states and 15 countries in Europe, Asia and South America.

Hootsuite’s Taylor has spent a decade creating and executing strategic programs and campaigns that connect and engage brands with their customers to drive business results, including campaigns for the likes of Hootsuite, Microsoft, the Vancouver Aquarium, Tourism Vancouver and lululemon.

All this experience and so much more await Jan 20 to 22!
