Voice Teacher Position Available with a Hoppin' Music School!

Sitka Music School is currently looking for an enthusiastic and energetic VOICE teacher to join our awesome team of upbeat teachers! Part time (2 days) teaching available for voice only teachers, or additional days/hours if you wish and you are able to also teach beginner piano as well. We run a hoppin' music school where we offer guitar, piano, singing, and violin/fiddle lessons and have been in operation over 15 years. We have a lovely staff and as we continue to grow we're seeking teachers to join our team for the fabulous students we attract with our unique program. We offer a fun and organized work environment where our priority is to support and encourage our staff. We take care of the administrative side of everything (you won't be chasing money or doing scheduling) and provide teaching materials to save you time to focus on the joy of teaching. :) Lessons are primarily taught in person (with a covid safety plan in place) and some students online. Our teachers are hired as employees and we pay a competitive wage per hour, not per student, so you have guaranteed hours. We work hard to fill your schedule with eager students and to make teaching with our school as enjoyable and organized as possible. We are located in the heart of Shawnigan Lake just 25 mins from Langford. We are happy to provide training to those who haven't taught lessons before but who have musical skills/training.
