Furniture Donations Needed to Support Women In Need | WIN

WIN Co-op is always in need of apartment sized furniture for our New Start Program. When a woman is ready to leave a transition house and set up a new home for herself and her children, WIN is there to support her. We provide her with all of the basics that they need to get started such as furniture, beds, kitchen items, linens and other household needs. Furniture Donations are an essential part of our New Start Program, as well as the other programs that we run in the community. Items needed include: - Loveseats - Living Room Chairs - Kitchen Tables and Chairs - Queen, Double and Single mattresses with boxsprings - Coffee tables and end tables - Dressers (without a mirror) If you have an item you would like to donate, please contact our Community Liaison at 250-480-4006 ext 204, or win@womeninneed.ca to schedule a free pickup. Victoria Women In Need Community Cooperative (WIN) operates 3 resale stores in Victoria BC, and an online shop. The revenue from WIN's shops, together with financial donations, funds their empowerment programs for self-identifying women, trans, non-binary and Two Spirit people. WIN has been providing programs to support people along their journey between crisis, self-sufficiency and wellness in their lives for almost 30 years.
