Requirements: Red Seal or MB Journeyman Truck Mechanic certification Manitoba Safety Inspection Certificate Working knowledge of Cummins, Cat, Deere, 2 & 4 cylinder Detroit engines Understanding of hydraulic valve operation and ability to diagnose issues Safety inspection experience Must have own tools Must be safety focused, organized and reliable Responsibilities include: Maintain, repair, and overhaul truck and trailer and specialized railway equipment (training provided on this) Service, adjust, repair or replace parts and components Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems Read and understand work orders, and interpret technical manuals Perform safety inspections on truck and trailers Brandon is an advanced community nestled along the Assiniboine RIver in the heart of Southwest Manitoba .
