Building Services Technician

Our Building Services Technician is the steward of our new building and its building systems. This position is a hands-on role also responsible for overseeing external contractors ensuring effective repairs with minimal interference with our residents' daily activities. Balancing building safety and security while maintaining a residential environment is key to our philosophy. Respectful communication with our residents is essential. Also, the ability to tell a good joke, participate in social events and a musical talent would be beneficial. Building maintenance will include performance of recurring repairs and preventative maintenance. This includes ensuring the exterior of the building is clean and clear of debries, painting suites, drywall repairs, carpentry, changing light bulbs, maintaining HVAC, boiler, filtration systems, sump pumps, and other hands on work as necessary. You would be our internal first response to emergency, security, fire and burglar alarm calls. This position is 5 days weekly 8:30am to 4:30pm, with availability for plumbing, electrical or other emergencies on a twenty-four hour, seven days a week basis.
