Local long established westshore Excavting company looking for full time heavy duty mechanic. Some shop work. Mostly field work out of truck pictured above. Fleet consists of roughly: -30+ pieces of heavy equipment ranging from skidssteers,rollers, backhoes, excavators 3-45tons. -As well as Hydraulic rock hammers, small engine pumps and packers. - 15 tandem highway dump and water trucks - 12 pup and equipment trailers. Work generally consists of: -General maintenance and services -prep for cvi inspections and relative repairs - daily breakdown trouble shooting and repairs - early or late days - weekends when available Applicants should Be competent in: Diesel engines Air breaks Hydraulic systems Electrical systems CVI requirements Minor welding Fabricating is not a requirement but an asset.
