Social Media Internship

WE ARE HIRING A SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN!!! Are you a student who needs to complete an internship/co-op? The purpose of this educational internship program is to assist the intern with gaining professional skills and competencies and to provide the intern with the conditions for professional development through participation in ongoing activities related to the everyday work of the Social Media team during the length of this internship. Core Activities: • Participate and contribute to corporate initiatives supporting the development and implementation of key digital communication strategies. • Aid in creating social media content across all ProsBuzz platforms. •Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries. • Identify viable leads for PROS.BUZZ and log their data in our CRM. • Follow up with leads in our CRM, and contact them with a set script. • Connecting with social media influencers and building collaborators for Pros.Buzz • Participate in team meetings related to current projects and/or initiatives. • If needed, other initiatives may be assigned during the co-op term. Ideal Candidate • Recognizes the value of continuous information exchange and the competitive advantage it brings. • Has strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. • Has the creative ability to devise material that effectively communicates complex topics in a compelling way, as well as the journalistic instinct of sourcing stories. • Can effectively manage projects in a deadline-driven environment, taking into consideration available resources and time frames. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively. • Preference will be given to applicants studying public relations, communication, digital media, or marketing at an undergraduate or graduate level; however, we encourage anyone who shows interest to apply.
