Salary: $62 – $67K DOE + eligibility for yearly bonus based on performance Hours: Monday – Friday day or afternoon shift (2 roles available) with flexibility as this is a 24/7 production facility. Benefits: Company funded extended health benefits including dental and vision 3 weeks vacation Eligible for 10% bonus based on performance Family business with open door friendly environment Lots of room for career growth Skills and Abilities: Supervisory experience in a related consumer goods industry Must be a leader of yourself and others Multi tasker able to effectively prioritize Must be a safety leader A positive demeanor and team player Accountability for record keeping of engineering related records Support quality, health and safety and environmental standards and systems Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written Strong work ethic and professional attitude Forklift certification would be an asset Must be legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship Responsibilities Include: Oversee the production process while supervising the performance of hourly personnel Execute new product launches and implement engineering changes Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria and efficiency Troubleshoot process or equipment related issues and fine tune to optimize workflows Prepare and implement preventative maintenance schedules Provide estimates on tooling, fixtures, cycle times, etc. Work closely with production team to support continuous improvement initiatives Ensure processes comply with health, safety and environmental legislations Supervision of hourly manufacturing employees Located about a 45 minute drive from both Toronto and Niagara Falls, Burlington, ON is situated right in the centre of Ontario’s “Golden Horseshoe”.
