Crooked Coop Farm is bringing in a small order of layer chicks April 4th. Five different breeds all females and vaccinated for Mareks and IBD. Noirans, production version of Copper Black Marans rated to lay 295 dark brown eggs in the first year. they are identical looking to pure Marans and mine are laying eggs at a 6 or 7 and the occasional 8 on the Marans egg colour scale. 50 chicks available Azure Blue, similar looking to White Leghorns but lay blue eggs! Rated at 295 eggs in the first year with less food required that larger breeds. 50 chicks available White Leghorn, the best white egg layer providing over 300 large eggs per year, these are one of my favorite breeds. 30 Chicks available Sasso Ivory, looks like a Delaware and is crazy productive, 350 large light brown eggs the first year. 40 Chicks available Sasso Silver, beautiful blue/grey feathers and lay over 295 large light brown eggs the first year. 40 Chicks available I am currently taking a wait list, no deposit required. Chicks are arriving April 4th and will be available for pick up on the 9th to ensure they are ok after shipping. If you need them brooded it's $1.00 per week per chick for up to four weeks.
