Part-time Advertising Job Available We are looking for someone to assist us with advertising a book to teach kids the times tables in a different way. The book is both a large paperback and an online series of three books. We need someone flexible, self-starting, organized and competent online at doing research and social media. Competency in English is required, although we will write blurbs and requests. See our website www.mathdog.ca to see the book we are promoting. The worker will promote the book in Canada and beyond as follows: • Take the book to local bookstores for consignment sales. • Liaise with media to promote the book. • Consult on social media for promoting the book. • Contact professors in Faculties of Education to solicit reviews and sales. • Find journals for teachers of grade school math teachers, librarians, and home schoolers to ask for a review. • Find how to get on book lists for practice/intern teachers and discover how to get our book on it. • Send publicity to our present email list. • Contact Departments of Education in Canada to discover how to get the book listed as an approved supplemental text. • Report at weekly meetings on Zoom with employers. • Knowing SEO is an advantage. Pay is $23/hour for between 20-40 hours, depending on the success of the research work. The employee will work on their own schedule. The hours may be extended upon agreement of the employer and the employee. The pay is dependent on qualifications and there will be a 2 week probationary period.
