Locally owned and operated Shield Landscaping is a full service lawn and garden care company servicing Greater Victoria, Shawnigan lake and Sidney. We are committed to providing quality landscaping services and yard care solutions. We’re growing and looking to add a committed, hard working landscaper to our team! Duties include but are not limited to: - Operating a variety of landscaping equipment and tools such as leaf blowers, lawn mowers, and hedge trimmers - Planting and maintaining a variety of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants - Installing and maintaining garden beds, pathways, and yard features - Pruning, trimming, and maintaining hedges, trees, and shrubs - Installing fences, pathways, and other small structures - Power washing and yard cleanup About you: - Excellent communication - Professional with positive attitude - Punctual and reliable - Attention to detail - Ability to work in all weather conditions - Ability to operate or willing to learn to operate a variety of landscaping tools - Some experience is great but not required as long as you are willing to learn! Pay will be determined based on experience Job Types: Part time and full time Hours: 7am-5pm Salary: $24 per hour Job Type: Full-time Salary: $48,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Extended health care Paid time off Schedule: 10 hour shift
