Employee will be responsible for answering phone, operating cashier till, assisting customers. This is a small retail store and will be expected to be able to open or close store. Store operates during normal business hours and weekends. There will be a consistent work schedule and not expected to be "on call". Basic knowledge of marine products a plus. training can be acquired but must be willing to learn and have a positive people skills. The store is a safe clean and pleasant location to work as well as located in a interesting environment. This is not your daily grind, it is enjoyable and unique place to work. Majority of the time will be assisting store owner to assist in the daily challenges. Applicants must be from Victoria area, living on the Saanich peninsula is a plus, interest in boating is a plus, communication skills are a must. The position is available for full time or part time depending on the candidate. No age preference but we are looking for a longer term employee than summer only employment.
