Front of House Manager

Artisan Bistro located in Broadmead Village is currently looking for a Front of House Manager to lead our team of fantastic staff. We are continually looking to grow and flourish in our location and need someone who will help continue to lead us in that direction! We are seeking an energetic, ambitious leader who is dedicated to extraordinary customer service. We need someone with a supportive and empowering presence who has great communication skills. Applicants must be professional, dependable and personable, as well as organized, detail oriented and committed to excellence. This is a full-time position, which includes evenings and weekends. Duties include hiring & training employees, making employee schedules, assigning duties to staff and monitoring performance on the floor. Regulating food quality and service to assure it meets our standards, make sure health & safety regulations are followed. Deal with guest concerns professionally and mediate situations that may arise. Ordering new products when needed, sourcing cost efficient ways to continue service and up-dating both food and beverage menus when necessary. Full bar up-keep maintained; ordering for all liquor merchandise, monthly inventory and changing cocktails seasonally as need be. We are now re-introducing our special Wine Dinner events; organization and wine selection for those nights will need to be prepared, as well as proper social media exposure to garner ticket sales. Managing social media accounts; Instagram, Facebook and Webpage. Have open communication with owners about matters affecting service and business, while maintaining full confidentiality. Salary will be dependent on experience, with health care benefits and paid vacation time. Qualifications: +2 years experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with restaurant supervisory experience; bonus if you have completed an accredited program in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
