Companion/Caregivers/Care Aides

We also offer wellness services including benefits, dental and paid counselling so our staff stay well. We are currently hiring for companion, caregiver, & care aide positions. Duties may include: - Light cleaning - Meal preparation - Companionship - Home support - Errands & shopping for the client - Shower/Bathing support - Caregivers & HCA's only - Medication management & administration - Caregivers & HCA's only Who is best suited for the position? Someone who is: - Friendly and personable - Able to work well independently as you're out in the community - Able to communicate and carry on a conversation well with Seniors - Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer’s an asset - Able to take direction and think outside the box Education & Experience: - Home Support/Resident Care Attendant or Health Care Assistant from a recognized post-secondary program; or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Requirements: - First Aid/CPR Level C - Clean criminal record check - BC Drivers License/Car – an asset This is for a permanent/full-time position Language: English - written & communication is required Benefits: medical, dental & life insurance Location of work: Client homes or care facilities Contact information: Quinn@careandcompanygroup.ca Working conditions: staff will be working a minimum of 2 hrs per shift and could be working with up to 4 clients per day depending on hours, needs and more of the client.
