Construction Site Superintendent

We are currently looking for a Site Superintendent to join our team and grow with us. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated with strong work ethic and a team player. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily on-site activity of the project and ensure it is constructed in accordance with plans, specifications and local codes Responsibilities: • Have knowledge and experience reading all drawing sets: architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical and landscape for a low-rise 80 unit residential project located within the City of Victoria • Daily site supervision of all site operations including implementation of Work Safe safety policies • Coordinate subcontractors and deliveries while ensuring all work being completed is within the contract scope • Create strong relationships and ongoing communication with trade contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients • Take charge of trade and safety meetings • Ongoing communication with Project Manager on issues and progress • Assist in the preparation of the project schedule and RFIs • Strong organizational skills and communication skills (written & verbal) • Maintain up-to-date site log and provide weekly updates to PM & Senior Management • Ability to prioritize, with strong organization and time management skills • You are a detailed-oriented planner – you look ahead and stay on top of things • Prepare and ensure completion of project deficiency lists • Maintain a clean, hazard free and organized site Experience: • Site Superintendent for low-rise residential: 10 years (preferred) • Construction industry: 15 years (preferred) • Computer skills: Word, Excel and Acrobat (preferred) Please apply via dave@cittagroup.com with your resume and references.
