E.L.V. jewelry appraisal service has been servicing Victoria and area for coming on 30 years now. We do all our appraisals in house unlike many jewelry stores in town, who send them to Vancouver, Kamloops and even as far away as Toronto. We don't need to tell you how much of a nightmare it can be if a package gets lost or stolen, especially if the items has yet to be appraised. Replacement Value (for insurance purposes) Fair Market Value and probate (for estates, liquidation etc.) $ 80.00 per item 2 - 3 days $ 100.00 per item same day (2 - 3 items) $ 125.00 per item while you wait (max 2 items) The above prices are for average pieces of Jewellery, if the item has many stones of different types, sizes and shapes the appraisals are done by estimate.
