Part time housekeeper in Victoria BC Wage: let me know what you want to be paid hourly. It can be a win-win situation where you are an employee, or one where you work as a contractor. Ultimately, we want regular reliable help. We are a professional couple with carreer and family demands. We are looking for housekeeping help 2-3 hours a day Monday to Friday mornings, ideally 9 am to noon. You will be an appreciated member of our team, helping us improve the quality of our lives. The overall responsibilities would be a rotation of maintenance cleaning and deep cleaning of various aspects of our home, home office, car, and yard work based on our needs, priorities, and the weather. Responsibilities: Daily cleaning of the kitchen Laundry as needed Sort and deal with recycling, garbage and recycling Weekly deep clean of specific areas, pre-planned with the owners Weekly maintenance clean of the bedrooms,bathrooms, floors, dusting Communication with owners about what was done and what wasn’t Restocking supplies and communicating when new supplies are needed Inform owners of items that need replacing/repairing Weekly meeting with owners to review the week and plan the priorities of the following week. Maintain a friendly and professional environment, free of noise and disruptions while owners are working. Qualifications, skills and experience: Reliable, and committed to the working schedule Committed to working safely, including adherence to safety regulations, hygiene and cleanliness Attention to detail Is able to prioritize tasks Physical requirements include the ability to complete typical household chores: vacuuming, moving light household items, to stand and/or walk for an extended period of time, ability to stoop, kneel and reach, and the ability to bend at the waist. Organized, efficient and communicates effectively Ability to work with digital tools to communicate with owners Prior hotel, housekeeping or yard work experience is an asset Criminal record check, Covid vaccinations and references are required.
