19 - $25 an hour depending on your Marine experience. Our company provides Top Notch yacht detailing services to most of the major marinas in southern Vancouver Island. We strive to provide our clients with the best results and our team works hard together to get jobs done to a high standard and on time. We are looking for someone who wants to work hard and fulfill the busy fall season. This job is perfect for people wanting to work outdoors and learn new skilled ! Job Description & Skill Requirements; Using high speed polishing tools Application of waxes and sealers to paint, gelcoats and various surfaces Washing yachts of all shapes and sizes. Being on time, and being at work on scheduled work days Showing up to the different marinas having your own car is very preferred Keeping track of how much products you are using and using products efficiently Being efficient with time and maximizing work hours Working with the team and being a team player Basic boat knots and simple boating tasks Odd jobs; Vacumming, Carpet cleaning, Caulking, Painting..etc. If you have prior polishing experience we will negotiate a higher rate of pay for those who do. We need strong, energetic candidates, wanting to work hard and can stay focused. We are hiring only a few to join our fun crew. We treat our employees and our clients like family and all we ask is that you work hard and you take care and pride in your work while on our clients boats. It is preferred if you have your own vehicle to commute between various yacht harbours on the peninsula. Sometimes the work is in town but mostly around Sidney. We also offer the opportunity to work on aircraft and automobile in our boutique ceramic coating salon. We will train anyone interested but having a passion for the marine environment and an eye for perfection is an asset.
