Full-Time Boat Detailer

Position Overview -Reporting to the Lead Hand & Project Manager, our Detailers have a hands-on multi-faceted role which requires both working alone or as part of a team -The Detailer ensures the highest standard of quality in their work and performs efficiently and effectively -Safety is a priority and our Detailers are expected to practice safety precautions in executing their duties, including the proper use of safety equipment Duties and Skills -Perform a variety of boat cleaning tasks including cleaning, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, power polishing, vacuuming, rug shampooing, window cleaning, laundering and provisioning -Applies & maintains protection of yachts in co-operation with other Philbrooks trades -Deliver exceptional customer service that supports repeat business and continued satisfaction of Philbrook's Boatyard clients -Keep docks & work space clean & free from debris to ensure the safety of clients and staff -Meet or exceed expectations with regard to promised times of completion -Ensure that all yacht cleaning and detailing is consistent with Philbrook's Boatyard standards -Manage inventory of cleaning products Qualifications -Demonstrated customer service skills -Detailing or boat detailing experience preferred -Position can be physically demanding -Hands-on multi-tasker, ability to work independently or as part of a small team -Recreational boating experience useful -Must hold valid class 5 driver's license -Computer Skills - basic computer skills plus internet and email Compensation Competitive with industry standards and includes a comprehensive health and benefits package with RRSP after one year of employment.
