5 bdrm 4bath Home in Vernon to swap for home in Victoria

We are a family of 4 looking to transition back to Victoria. Given the state of the real estate and rental market, we want to live in a temporary home for a time before we buy again. We are offering a large, executive, modern 5 bedroom 4 bathroom home on 2 acres, with a large pool. We are located in the prestigious Okanagan Landing neighbourhood and live across the street from Okanagan Lake. Floor to ceiling windows on the lake side of our home boast incredible views. We are a short walk to the Vernon yacht club and to the Outboard Pub, and many lake front parks are located nearby, as are the hiking and mountain biking trails of Ellison Provincial Park. Predator Ridge golf course is a 15 minute drive, and numerous other golf courses are also close by. Silver Star Ski Resort for winter fun is a short 35 minute drive away and is a true family destination. The local elementary school is also very close, about a 2 minute drive. Why would we want to leave this paradise? I grew up in Victoria and am ready to move home and raise my young family there. We are looking for a house swap starting Jul/Aug 2022 for approximately 9-12 months - essentially we want to be in Victoria prior to the start of the 2022/23 school year so that we can settle in, and remain as long as we can in the house while we figure out where we want to set down roots. We are set on the James Bay, Oak Bay, Fairfiled through to Cadboro Bay area - relatively close to the water and ease of being able to walk or bike from our front door. We don't need a huge house, 3 bedrooms - we are more concerned with location. We have a rag doll cat. We allow pets at our home as the yard is so spacious. We own 2 other properties in Vernon that we do short term rentals in and will keep them as they are - but we are used to having guests etc in our other properties so think that this is a doable step for us.
