This is a short-term lease, which will take you from late August of 2022 to late May of 2023. This is our dream home on approximately three acres and we will move in during May/June of next year. It includes 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, including one bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. The home is nicely furnished with carpets, custom cupboards/counter-tops and has a creek + swimming hole on the property. The fireplace within the home is operational and one of a kind; it’s one of the largest old fireplaces in the Victoria area and is visible in four different rooms on the main floor. There are hundreds of local trees on the property and the lovely sound of the creek quiets other noises around you. There are steps leading up to the backside of the property where you can escape and go hiking on the acreage at your leisure. There are local bike trails nearby, a bus stop right around the corner, and you’re a 10 minute drive from Langford’s City Centre. This home also includes a two bedroom suite on the lower floor, equipped with it’s own parking spot, entrance, kitchen, full bathroom and washer/dryer. We are open to renting the entire home to the right people. In the coming months, my contractor will likely install additional fencing and frame in an additional space underneath the large deck. He will also renovate the sheds and may install a hot tub, sauna and workout space in early 2023 near the swimming hole. We are open to renting to people with well-behaved older pets, but a pet deposit would be required. If you choose to rent the upper portions of the house while the lower is rented by someone else, the upper tenants will be responsible for 75% of the utilities and some of the yard maintenance, which is minimal along the watering hole.
