Would like to rent a house in Sooke away from the madding crowd on the outskirts of the city. The house is to be set back from a road for the safety of my 2 cats. About me My name is Jerry. I am a retired animal and garden photographer. My images have been sold through garden, cat, dog and horse magazines, greeting card and calendar publishers. Currently, I am working at a golf course to keep myself in shape. My financial status is pretty secure. I don’t drink, smoke nor do drugs. Due to my quiet nature, I don’t do parties and enjoy the peace and quiet. What I like to do and have done a lot of is gardening work. So maintaining the property from whom I am renting is my desired goal. I also have done a lot of volunteer work, such as working in a food bank and chauffeuring folks in a drug rehab facility. I just love helping people. I also love going sky diving. Nothing beats the feeling of free falling when jumping out of the airplane. I also love traveling. Before Covid, I travelled to Israel and Taiwan to visit family members. I also have a sister who lives in Montreal. I have 2-17 year young cats who are semi feral and who do their ‘business’ and nail scratching outside. I daily take them for hikes off leash. And they sleep with me.
