(Assuming your dream is to live with some of the coolest ppl in Victoria) Wakanda is a social house concept I started in Vancouver to choose tenants based on personality rather than solely their financial stability and I’m doing the same concept with our family house (the one ur looking at rn) About Wakanda: - 3 bed 2 bath (including 1 master) and 5 parking spots - Private patio and a shared fireplace in the backyard with seating area - The social room (living room) will be used for gatherings and socializing - It's disconnected from the suite on the other side of the property - 8 min drive to uptown, 1 min walk to the bus stop (Routes #8DT #11Uvic) and 17 min to helijet if you heli to work;) - The rooms are available from Dec 1st and you have the option to start moving your things in a few days earlier - I won’t personally live in the house but Wakanda might host gatherings and once in a while after checking w all the Wakandans but we gotta be respectful to the neighbours and keep em on our side - The goal is to have the whole house full by Dec 1st but if we have to pay extra from pocket, we will to make sure only ppl sharing the same vibe live here. Also, don’t msg offering to pay in advance or more lol read the vibe cuz the goal is to have a good time not just live Rent deets: All the furniture is included in the rent except your room furniture All the utilities and the wifi are included in the rent Bedroom #1 - $1550 - Master bedroom + small den space for a couple Bedroom #2 - $1050 - slightly bigger room with bigger windows for single occupancy Bedroom #3 - $1050 - slightly smaller with a walking closet and windows for single occupancy Our family is responsible for a big mortgage plus all the utilities, wifi and all the maintenance costs of the property so the rent needs to be in the account on or before the 1st of each month with half the rent as a damage deposit before moving in. House rules: - U gotta be cool;) It’s not my rule it’s just how you’re gonna survive in Wakanda - Be clean … yea that means no letting it soak or “I’ll do that tomorrow” - No smoking - No pets - No overnight guests … JK but make sure they follow the house rules Process: - Step 1: Send me the best entry code for this house (yea of course there’s a code;) and that msg you copy-paste for every place including proof of employment or other funding sources - Step 2: We meet in person for viewing over the weekend since that’s the only time I can travel over to the island and see if ur Wakanda material (not up to me the place chooses the people not the other way around;) - Step 3: Signing the agreement and e-transferring the deposit (half of the rent) plus the rent for December
