Are you a customer service superstar? We are hiring a part-time counter service employee in our dynamic café and specialty market. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment and offering fantastic customer service while building rapport with our guests. Urban Forage Café & Specialty Market is located in the Atrium building on Yates Street. We are known for our delicious sandwiches and wraps, tasty smoothies as well as our specialty market where we make and package over 100 products on-site. We are mostly take-out and also have a beautiful courtyard for our customers to enjoy. We are open Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5pm. What we are offering: $18 per hour which includes tips. Job duties will include: - Providing exceptional customer experience for every visitor - Taking customer orders, operating cash register, and credit card machines - Ensuring speedy preparation of orders - Preparing smoothies, sandwiches and other menu items - Helping to maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas of our establishment - Packaging and restocking our specialty market products What we are looking for: - Outgoing, enthusiastic, high energy individual - Clear communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task - Ability to take direction and work as part of a team as well as taking initiative and working independently We look forward to meeting you!
