Legion Manor Victoria is looking for a Gardner to look after our grounds under the supervision of Maintenance Manager. This is a Friday-Tuesday position with 100% employer paid benefits, free lunch, on-site parking and much more. Qualifications: Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions in English Able to use general maintenance tools, ladders, landscaping and safety equipment's. Ability to self regulate and work independently Good gardening knowledge would be an asset. Must be capable of performing necessary physical duties including the movement of heavy objects Must be familiar with and able to carry out minor repairs to facility and equipment Knowledge of Health and Safety, WHMIS and Emergency Preparedness procedures. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with a passion and empathy for seniors. This position includes Full Benefits after three months.
