For sale is a very cool early CD player. This one is interesting as it has a pitch control to speed up or slow down your CD, and it allows you to see the CD spin through the little window. It works but skips or loops occasionally, especially near the end of the disc, and has trouble reading some longer CDs. What I’ve done so far: -recapped servo board -cleaned laser lens -cleaned and re-greased laser rails -cleaned disk tray mechanisms I’m pretty sure all it needs is a new laser transport belt as the original was in bad shape. I put one in that doesn’t quite fit which improved things but it’s still not perfect. I just don’t have the time to track one down at the moment.
