Barbie Doll Clothing: Vintage Barbie Red Flare #939 Vintage Barbie Red Flare is a classic vintage ensemble, made for three years during the period 1962 -1965. This particular outfit is in excellent condition and has been stored in a pet and smoke-free environment. First lady, Jackie Kennedy, inspired this swing coat and pillbox hat combination. The swing coat has a white satin lining and has the original “Barbie By Mattel” tag inside. The red velvet envelope purse has a tiny rhinestone closure and is also lined in white satin. Missing from the original ensemble are the long white gloves.
