I am seeking a home support worker to join my care team on a casual basis, and provide vacation coverage for several shifts between June 15-23rd. The evening shifts are from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, seven days a week. Morning shifts are 6:30-8:30 am Mondy to Friday, and 8-10 on Saturday and Sunday. I live close to downtown Victoria. I am a middle-aged woman with disability requiring assistance with the following tasks: - Bathing, dressing & other personal care tasks - Preparing and administering medications - Wheelchair transfers (lifting not required) - Cooking meals - Light housework The ideal candidate will have some caregiving experience, be in good physical condition have a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Paid training shifts will be provided. This position is not suitable for a person with pet allergies, as this is a cat-friendly household.
