$20 · Outreach Delivery Driver - Vulnerable Populations

The Daily Dose Society is seeking one or more part time Outreach Delivery Drivers to deliver harm reduction supplies and medications to vulnerable individuals downtown Victoria (and Westshore). The ideal candidate(s) would have a clean driver’s abstract (required) and some education and/or experience in the Human/Social Services field (preferred but not required). Duties include delivering prescription medications to unhoused and underhoused individuals, maintaining vehicle cleanliness (company car), and adhering to COVID safety protocols. This job requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and the incumbent must be willing to deliver to outdoor homeless camps, temporary shelters, and supportive housing. We offer flexible hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm. The hourly rate of pay is $17 on weekdays and $20 on weekends and Holidays. Criminal record check required. *Preference given to applicants with First Nations background or those having work experience with Indigenous populations. **Proof of COVID vaccination required.
