March 31-April 2 This intro session to ocean paddling will give you the skills necessary to operate in the ocean environment. Over the course of three days you will build confidence with the strokes, recoveries, navigation and decision making skills you need to be successful in an ocean environment. Day 1 we will cover strokes and recoveries. Day 2 will be a combination of theory and applied skills skills in a dynamic environment. Day 3 will be a local adventure to an exciting and picturesque location close to Victoria. This course is for participants that want to expand their skill set and feel comfortable paddling in the ocean environment. What's included: Three full days of instruction including three on land theory sessions during the course. Location: Victoria. The exact location will be according to the weather. Prerequisites: Basic kayak skills.
