Rare pawpaw fruit

Locally grown from hand pollinated trees. This is Canada's only indigenous semi-tropical fruit, usually found only on the east coast. Enjoy this rare delicacy whose aroma reminds one of mango. Pierce ripe pawpaw with skewer of some sort, freeze overnight. Next day pop into warm water until skin softens enough to be removed. Voila a mango/banana popsicle! Just avoid the seeds which are the size of lima beans - maybe two to five.
