$30 · K-12 Math Tutoring

I am currently working towards a degree in software engineering at UVic. I have been a private tutor for 5 years now, and I have teached almost all K-12 math and science subjects. I particularly love teaching math, because I know it can be difficult for some students so it is so rewarding to watch them succeed. In my 5 years of tutoring I have learned how to work with a wide range of students, so I customize my teaching style to what best fits my student. I prioritize developing understanding of concepts, rather than just memorizing how to do questions. I have an easy-going personality, and I want my students to feel comfortable working with me. I am currently offering lessons for the summer. I do all my tutoring through Zoom right now. I have an iPad and pencil, so I am able to write on my screen. I have been tutoring online for the past year, and all of my students have adapted well to it. My rate is $30 an hour, and I offer free consultations.
