Full-time/Part-time Piano Teacher Needed The Brentwood School of Music is currently searching for a piano teacher for the 2023-2024 school year - hopefully beyond! Hourly pay is $40+ with the opportunity to earn more per hour. This position is a possible replacement for a teacher who retired after 30 years at the school. Must be available to teach at least four hours per day (after-school into evening), at least two weekdays per week for the 10-month school year from September through June. Brentwood School of Music has been located in the heart of Brentwood Bay, B.C. for more than 40 years. We are a local, family-owned school and have been an integral member of the Saanich Peninsula community for decades. Our school is currently full with a waiting list, so full-time teaching is possible depending on each teacher's availability. University Degree is helpful but not required. Must be able to teach at least beginner RCM Conservatory Prep. Knowledge of anything Pop/Rock/Blues/Jazz - and keyboards besides piano - definitely an asset! Past teaching and/or working with kids is essential. Criminal record check required.
