ONLINE ZOOM HOMESCHOOL TEACHER NEEDED

TEACHER NEEDED 20 hrs per week. MON-FRI 10AM-2PM ONLINE OVER ZOOM (can live anywhere in Canada) School: SelfDesign Salary $25-35 per/hr compensation related to credentials. Contract with SelfDesign For this position we require a prerequisite of some kind of higher education above the grade 12 level. Our dream candidate would possess teaching certificate and be certified in B.C. Or a university degree. We are open to other types of education and experience also if it is directly related to education. (Please note the salary above is base salary and renumeration is flexible up to $35.00 per hr based on experience and credentials). Position commences the last week of August but we would like to do the paper work and criminal record check before the year starts. We are looking for an online Home School Teacher for our wonderful 17 year old daughter with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1(to understand more about this condition go to www.curesma.org). Here's a chance to work with a very bright, funny, adventurous young woman utilizing the most advanced technology over zoom. Our daughter is entering grade 12 in Sept 2022 and our current teacher is also going back to school and is leave this position. The teacher will be expected to teach all subjects in the curriculum as set out by SelfDesign. No curriculum planning is needed but you must have strong organizations skills to meet the schools set out goals. The position is 4 hrs. a day from 10 to 2pm Mon-Fri, Sept. - June. We also have the ability to carry on through the summer months with funding if we wish to do so as a team. We do have the ability to start at 9am-1pm also.
