We are looking to re home our Brutus. Hels a 2 year old anatolin shepherd ,still fully intact. He s huge , he s beautiful and he is the perfect dog for someone out there. However we must re home him asap here... I do not want to put him down. I am simply not around enough to give him the attention he needs , and our farm helper is afraid of him . In fairness he is a masive beast . He is not a house dog or a normal pet. He requires one on one attention with someone who can really give him time and attention. He would be the ultimate Bush dog . (just research anatolin s or kangals ) they would keep you safe against any bear or predator. As mentioned , he cannot go to someone s house as a normal pet and nor can I send him to a shelter so my only alternative is to put him down. He is a great dog but has some food aggression towards other dogs.and is just huge animal in general. This dog is not for 90% of the population. With the correct home/ yard (fenced ) he could be a fantastic companion and sire to amazing puppies in the future too. He was not raised with livestock early enough so cannot be a proper livestock guardian at this time, however anyone who had the correct home can have a unique and unparalleled farm/ bush dog . If someone interested in rescuing this dog please contact us. A small $300 re homing fee will apply ...as I need to be sure that the place he goes to can afford him. He does eat a lot Brutus would make an amazing working dog ...hauling logs or guarding a premises. Having said that I d rather put him down than see Him go to an unfit/ inappropriate home .
