$1,500 · *PROJECT* 1999 RM250 Needs rebuild

Selling my 99 rm250 2 stroke. This bike needs to be rebuilt and is currently taken apart as shown in pictures. I have everything to put it back together but the bike needs a possible bottom end kit. I have a new top end kit to go with the sale. Something went in the bottom end , might just be a bearing but haven't taken further apart . It has resistance when manually stroked.( Can show when viewing) The cylinder head will need to be redone , something got in-between the top of the piston and the cylinder head causing major damage as shown in pictures. But surprisingly cylinder walls are in good shape. (Bike will come with new piston in top end kit) Clutch was good when the bike was running and it did fire up pretty Easy. I got this bike as a perfect example of buyer beware, 3 rides in and it died , pulled hard when I rode it but lost interest in repairs now needed as I was expecting to be riding trouble free after buying. The exhaust was recently repacked with only one ride in before it died. Rear tire has lots of life , front is questionable and could go for a more aggressive tread. Front fork seals will need replacing and comes with new ones, also rear shock needs new lower bearing installed but will be included with bike. Also included is a different front sprocket for trails.
