Assistant Service Manager

We are growing and have a rare opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team at Volkswagen Victoria. Responsibilities include providing an excellent customer experience, assisting customers with vehicle issues, being the liaison between the customer and the technician throughout the repairs process, and assist in hiring, training, and coaching the Service Advisor team. Responsibilities include: • Greeting clients, assessing their needs, and providing recommendations based on the Volkswagen maintenance schedule. • Managing each client interaction from start to finish. • Coaching, training and supporting the Service Advisor team • Maintain a high Customer Service Experience index score • Opening and Closing duties as necessary • Work with Parts Department to ensure prompt Special-Order Parts booking • Assist in reviewing Warranty Claims to ensure accuracy and compliance • Respond to customer complaints and survey alerts • Review service history and completed repairs; recommend service; organize shuttle service • Communicate to the technician detailed information regarding vehicle issue • Collects payments • Closes repair orders in a timely manner • Review finished repair order for proper completion, pricing accuracy, and legibility • Eliminates surprises for customer by reviewing service repairs and their associated charges to ensure accuracy • Maintains open communications with technical staff regarding job status changes • Promotes cooperation and teamwork among technicians and support staff and assists Service Advisors when needed • Maintains composure and courtesy in dealing with customers and fellow employees • Cooperate with all other dealership personnel necessary to guarantee quality service • All other duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Service Manager position Requirements: • Valid driver’s license • Experience in the automotive industry • Previous Retail/Customer Service Experience • Post-Secondary education preferred • Valid BC Driver’s License Why join our team? • Competitive compensation and bonus plan. • Extended medical and dental benefits. • Ongoing training and development to support your career growth. • Employee discounts at the Villa Eyrie Resort and the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit, Vehicle purchase and service incentives. • State of the art facilities. • So much more!
