Slegg Building Materials Job Title: Cashier Location: Langford The Opportunity Slegg Building Materials Langford is currently seeking a Full-Time Cashier. Responsibilities and Functions (Include but are not limited to the following) *Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers *Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities *Greet and assist customers with purchases *Provide suggestions and recommendations on products and materials *Process all point of sale transactions at the cashier counter in an efficient, accurate and friendly manner *General housekeeping duties and stocking of merchandise *Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures *Other duties as assigned by management Required Skills and Qualifications *Previous cashier experience is an asset *Superior customer service skills *Effective written and oral communication skills *Ability to work independently and as team *Available to work flexible hours including weekends *Physical requirements include: -Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs -Standing for long periods of time *A positive can do attitude is essential!
