We are seeking an ultra talented, highly organized individual to lead one of our construction teams on a high end architectural home as Project Manager. The ideal candidate has 10+ yrs in residential construction, 5+ yrs in Project Managing and is familiar with all aspects of fine home construction. Experience in structural steel and engineered wood framing a must. Knowledge of high performance building assemblies and envelopes important. Skilled Detailer and spreadsheet wizard a bonus. Project Manager- The Project Manager’s role is to be the full time control mechanism for a mid-to-large residential project (5000sf+). The PM’s job is to control and track all aspects of the project related to MDRN Built’s responsibilities as a company; Production, Communication, Quality, Budget and Schedule. Expectations: Have a deep understanding and knowledge of the project budget Have an understanding of the project scope and detailing required PRIOR to commencement Solid Knowledge of Building Systems and Assemblies relative to the project Be a leader and motivator of staff and sub trades involved in the project Take pride in the professionalism of the job and the site Be the most committed and dedicated staff person on the project Responsibilities: Front line communication with project architect, client and project team Liaison and Leader for all sub-trades Schedule Tracking and adherence Budget Tracking and Control On-going Cost Refinement Estimating / Take-Off’s / Quantity Assessments Meeting Leader and organizer Weeklies/Dailies- Progress Reporting Site Safety Leader/Delegator Procurement- materials and supplies both common and specialty Quality Control Document Tracking
