Door Production

THE OPPORTUNITY Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking 2 Full Time-Production team members to work Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm. We are excited to offer monthly breakfast or lunch events once again to our staff.   THE RESPONSIBILITIES - Produce and manufacture doors using machines and tools - Comply with all safety requirements - Use of power tools - Read work orders over before beginning door production manufacturing to ensure you have all necessary information - Understand machine processes, paperwork systems and quality standards - Assist with coordination of workflow within manufacturing plant and supply chain to expedite production - Record any product used that is not on face of work order - Advise supervisor of low inventory or other product concerns - Keep work area organized and free of debris at the end of the day - Check machining, cutting, and processing tolerances against required standards - Various other duties as required or directed by management THE REQUIREMENTS - Detail orientated with disciplined work habits - Effective written and oral communication skills (Ability to speak, read and write in English) - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately - Ability to work independently and as a team - Good knowledge of basic mathematics - Physical requirements include: - Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs - Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight
