Door Pre-Hanger-Finish Carpenter-Full Time

Job Overview: The Door Manufacturer assembles and/or manufactures various types of interior and exterior door systems including custom door units. Job Requirements: • Finish carpenter experience/cabinet shop and/or body work • Produce and manufacture doors according to work order using machines, power and hand tools, measure and cut down door slabs and jamb, drill and cut out hinges, re-block doors where necessary, install door slabs in door jamb • Physically able to perform tasks that require prolonged standing, sitting and other activities that are necessary to perform job duties, physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise up to 80 lbs, repeatedly • Understand interior paperwork systems, quality standards and National Building Code of Canada • Ensure compliance to all safety and fire regulations • Self-starter, detail oriented with disciplined work habits, superior communication & organization skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ensure regulations, company policies and procedures are followed, maintain safety procedures at all times • Assume other duties as assigned by management We offer benefits, flexible hours, staff discounts and a fun work environment!
