Remediation Workers

In this industry, no one should ever be worried that jobs are slowing down! We are looking for more Experienced Abatement workers who are looking for a career and to further develop themselves within a fast growing company. We provide a respectful work environment with professional staff who are focused on safety. We conduct demolition, hazardous material removal, mold and other hazardous material abatement. The ideal applicant focuses on effective work practices and keeping themselves and other workers safe. Workers must be clean shaven in order to wear respirators. Responsibilities include and are not limited to: • Removal of asbestos containing material from residential homes, ships, industrial and commercial buildings, such as drywall, vinyl flooring, plaster, insulation etc. • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures set out by the company’s health and safety program. • Follow all hazardous material handling guidelines and prescribed safety procedures laid out by WorksafeBC guidelines. • Operation of hand and power tools, and a variety of other equipment. • Removal of asbestos while wearing respirators, Tyvek suit's, full faced and PAPR masks. Travel and After Hours – typically we work Monday to Friday. Drivers licence not required but a definite asset. Hourly wage is based on experience and skill set.
